Carol Kreider, Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, developed an interest in family medicine because it is focused on the patient during their entire life cycle. Family medicine enables the provider to positively influence the health path of a particular population. Carol became interested in family medicine in an attempt to fill the need for providers in disproportionately under-served areas.
Carol chose to work for Oak Orchard Health because of our company mission statement and to "provide quality, comprehensive health care". Carol picked a place where the needs within the community are foremost and care is delivered in a collaborative patient-piloted manner. Carol enjoys getting to know her community and the folks who could potentially become patients within the practice. "Building a foundation of trust within the patient-provider relationship is important in addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. As providers, the relationships you build are as important as the quality care that you provide."
Carol sees patients in our Albion Primary Care Practice.
